The shape is based on the classic French restaurant cutlery I have worked with for 25 years in the ‘Oud Sluis’, and which I have also chosen for ‘Pure C’ and ‘The Jane’. Why change something that is near perfect? I did not, and I am extremely proud of the resulting Surface Collection cutlery, because I am convinced that this cutlery collection provides the solution to the disadvantages of well-known restaurant silverware. The stone-washed finish gives the spoons, knives and forks that contemporary look I wanted them to have. The spoons are packaged per 12 in a luxury gift box.
