The Met x Eichholtz introduces the Chair Georges Jacob, inspired by the neoclassical elegance of a small settee (ca. 1785) by the master French chairmaker Georges Jacob (French, 1739–1814) in The Met collection. Our interpretation, featuring a Sentier cream upholstery and an antiqued gold finish, exudes timeless sophistication, blending classic artistry with modern luxury.
