Mirror ‘Noren’ by Deknudt is ingeniously designed in two parts.
NOREN is the wonderful result of a new collaboration between Deknudt Mirrors and Belgian designer Inge Rylant. Living and working between Belgium and Japan, Inge is inspired by traditional Japanese elements, which are perfectly reflected in this mirror.
Noren takes its name from traditional Japanese fabric curtains, which are usually hung between rooms, doorways or windows. These noren often feature vertical gaps between them, making it easy to pass through or look through. This designer mirror embodies this concept. It is ingeniously designed in two parts, with a gap in between that adds a special visual appeal and a certain playfulness.
The perfect circle in this intriguing composition reflects the iconic round windows of Japanese architecture. These are designed to harmoniously frame nature. The understated, minimalist design and dark green colour scheme make Noren an inspiring addition to any modern living space.
Deknudt Mirror Works from Deerlijk, Belgium, is an authority in the field of design mirrors. The dedication and craftsmanship of our own professionals is at an unprecedented high level, which is reflected in the perfect finish of every mirror.
