The clean, calm design is created because Volterra consists of a straight and seamless seat cushion per module. The cushions align vertically with the underlying frame. The back and side support is also straight, while the soft back cushions, make the design slightly more playful. The Volterra sofa is available both with and without armrests: without armrests it is an intermediate module and with a left or right armrest it is a generous loveseat. The sofa has two armrests.
