The 'Kyo Hall' mirror by Deknudt Mirrors draws its inspiration from the Japanese wood-burning technique Shou Sugi Ban. This centuries-old method, in which the surface of wood is charred with a hot flame, was originally used to protect the material from the elements.
The characteristic look of burnt wood gives the Kyo Hall a unique, timeless appearance. The contrast between the deep black and the natural texture creates a refined balance between rustic and modern. This mirror adds warmth and character to any interior, from contemporary to traditional.
The Kyo Hall is also available in other sizes and can be customised from a single piece.
